Recorded a show with the DVR - Any way for others to watch?

Hi,

I recorded a show on the DVR. A friend would like to see it and her son thinks I can email it to them (I believe they have Comcast where they are). I tried to look around when I was in the recording, but I couldn't find anything.

Thanks.

Sorry, you will need to copy it to a VCR or DVD recorder and stick it in the US mail.  Or you can invite them over.

Shows are not transferable from a DVR directly.

Or you can record it onto a PC (with a card that can take A/V) as a media file and email that.  I record all of my TV using Tuner cards (QAM and Cable Card tuners) to play back on my TV, burn onto a DVD or send to others as needed.. Or you can take the DVD created by JaylnAlg and copy that onto your PC and email that file..

I should mention that making a copy and giving it to somebody else is probably a copyright violation.
