I can't get the volume control on the comcast remote to work on my TV. It works when the TV is first turned on but then it stops working. How can this be fixed?
make sure your pressing the tv button first on the remote also try to change the batteries, also it has been reported that some tv's with backlighting can interfere with the signal from the remote. If you get close to the box does it work then.
Just to add to what Rog posted, some newer LCD TV sets can interfere with the remote control frequencies when they warm up. You may need to adjust the TV set's backlighting setting, check your TV’s manual for how to do that.
