I have a Samsung tv and I want to use the xfinity remote, but when I use the volume on the xfinity remote, the volume changes by one notch. How can I program it to increase/decrease involume by just holding the button?
thats how it should work, how it does for most. Please post the model of your cable box and what color remote comcast gave you. There are multiple samsung codes have you tried them all?
Same problem. I also have a Samsung TV and my latest Xfinity digital cable remote doesn't allow me to raise or lower the volume by holding it down. I have to manually press it each time.
Try the other Samsung codes that are listed online - I think in the remote setup section. 10812 worked for me. Full range volume control with one press, plus other TV functions, such as changing TV inputs with the TV/VCR button.
