Just swapped out my cable box DVR fro a newer model since the prior one was resetting every few hours.  Now I cannot et the standard definition channel to come in wit the right resolution.  My HDTV channels come in as 720 but my standards ones are 480.  How can I set the resolution for the channels?

With your Comcast remote turn off the cable box, then press "menu".  That brings up the user menu where the resolution selections are made.

You can choose "native" and then choose the resolutions that your TV accepts.  That will get you all the SD and HD native resolution passed through the box to the TV with HDMI or component cables.
