For the last week or two, for some of the time, we have had pixelation(I call it digital noise) on the screen. When it is the worst, the screen goes to black for a few seconds.

 Is anyone else having this problem?

Pixelation issues are a poor signal to the TV outlet.  it can happen when changes are made in the home with splitter or coax cable changes, or loose / corrorded F connectors & other coax issues.

If nothing has changed in the home, then it is most likely and outside issue and most of the time it is very close to the home with a damaged drop cable, loose /corrorded / wet fittings, other coax related issues or even upstream into Comcast's RF portion of the plant.

You should call Comcast support and insist on getting a tech out to troubleshoot the issue and make corrections.
