Per visio soundbar instructions, the red/while cables are used on the bar and the TV. It worked this way with charter-it does not work with comcast. Is there a different setup?

well how do you have this hooked up to your cable box, what box is it? you need to supply more info. you would need to put the cables from the audio out on the box to the audio in on the sound bar.

If the soundbar is connected to the TV, it has nothing to do with comcast. Are you getting sound to the TV from the cable box? Can you describe your set up a little better? What kind of box? What kind of TV? I know you have a Vizio soundbar.

so the box has audio out on it, so you plugged the audio out from the box to the audio in on the sound bar and you get nothing? go to your cable box menu and to audio what do you have the audio settings set for there? Also to configure audio for the box, with the box off press menu, see what audio settings you have there

The vizio bar has a remote that has input on the buttom left corner and SRS on the right, upon hooking your sound bar to your Tv hit the input button until you hear sound, the input button controls the channels
on your sound bar! Also the SRS button will control the sound quality. Good luck I also have a vizio sound bar and a Samsung Tv, that's what made me take notice to this article!
