Just curious when HD is coming to zip 01952. The reason I ask is I currently pay for HD, but I can't tell the difference from SD and HD. Come on Comcast lets get better HD.
I had Directv for 15 years and when I switched to Comcast it was like stepping back in time.
I have had techs come down to check it out and all they tell me is nothing is wrong and that its a bad time to switch to Comcast in my area and I should have waited.

I'm counting around 45 HD's on your system, so you have not gone thru the digital transition yet. Subscribers on Motorola systems are due to have more HD's as part of the Comcast digital transition and is supposed to be completed by the end of the year.
If your on a Scientific Atlanta / Cisco system, the digital transition is due for completion later, going into 2011.
Part of the lack of HD's is in part of Comcast buying this cable system from Frontier in 2005, and probably needs more behind the scenes work, time and money to get it updated for more HD.
Comcast is letting their subscribers know when the additional HD's and the digital transition are coming, as additional equipment is needed for older TV's connected directly to the cable outlet.

If you can't tell the difference between SD and HD then perhaps you don't have the cable box output configured properly.

I was being sarcastic. I have everything hooked up right its just a crapy picture. The HD quality is just poor and doesn't come close to what I use to have with Directv. Comcast can have 1 HD channel or 100 HD channels its the quality of the picture that sucks.

Then perhaps you have a poor signal and need to check the signal strength and connections.

From what I understand my area is an old Adelphia take over so ll the lines and equipment is old and Comcast needs to update. My signal is fine and connections are fine. It all comes down to Comcast dragging there feet.
