HI,
I went to comcasts website check to see if I can use the dvr manager, it says it is available in my area, but can not detect a sutible model dvr (or something to that effect).
I'm using the explorer 8300HD.
What dvr do i need to get for the dvr manager to work?

The dvr manager does not work with SA boxes, it is available in limited areas with Cisco SA boxes. See the link below to see when it might be coming to you.
Scroll down to the q&a for areas, most areas in your market will have some kind of update soon.

Thanks for the information, maybe I will call up my local comcast and see if I can get a newer box.
